FREE wellbeing resources for schools

Children’s Mental Health Week takes place between 9th and 15th February this year. Its theme is “This is My Place” and to coincide with the event, we are excited to release our Wellbeing topical pack for 2026!
Designed to support pupils’ mental health and emotional wellbeing in the primary school classroom, this resource pack is perfect for teachers wanting to provide extra support for a particular child or to promote positive mental health more generally.
What’s in the Wellbeing topical pack?
Our 2026 Wellbeing pack includes:
- Wellbeing facts, including an explanation of the ‘5 Ways to Wellbeing’
- Mood meters and daily journal check-ins to encourage self-reflection and awareness
- Mindful colouring templates to promote relaxation
- Information-sharing activities to build empathy and understanding
- Brain break activity suggestions to give your pupils’ brains a breather so that they are ready to learn again
- Goal-setting exercises to foster focus and resilience
How can Busy Things support your pupils’ wellbeing?
In addition to our Wellbeing topical pack, Busy Things offers a range of interactive online activities designed to promote positive mental health, including:
Journalling projects

Encourage self-reflection and mindfulness through journalling activities. Writing or drawing journal entries can help children process their emotions, think critically about their experiences and build self-awareness.
Our templates support daily or weekly wellbeing check-ins, providing children with the opportunity to reflect and giving teachers valuable insights into their thoughts.
Try our ‘Write a journal entry’ activity, available from Year 2 upwards!
Calming activities
Many activities on Busy Things are inherently calming, offering children a chance to reground themselves so they’re ready to tackle learning afresh. These can be found in each year’s specific Brain break areas (as explained in our recent Brain break blog:
One of these activities is ‘Busy bounce’ (right).
